In August 2006 I had a stroke which ended up with aphasia, appraxia and dysathria. Now that I have almost recovered, I want to share my experience with fellow stroke survivors, their caregivers and the medical community. My blog is about day by day account of what happened with me. And various treatments of Aphasia, Apraxia, Dysarthria that went well.

You handled this topic very well and I'm sure a lot of people can identify with it.
I have a friend with aphasia who went through that Michigan program and it didn't do him any good. That's not to say it won't help someone else. There are so MANY variable's and no guarantees with any speech therapies and a wide range of outcomes. I wish you well, if you go, and look forward to hearing about it in your blog.
